中文摘要 | Two and three dimensional simulations of turbulent flow around a square prism with impacting angles 0 °,15 °,30 ° and 45 ° are studied using FIDAP with a personal computer. The standard k- ε turbulence model and its extended form are adopted to describe the flow fieds. The ability is proved by comparing numerical results to the available experimental data, and a statistical t-test is employed to check the reliability of the 3D results. The simulations showed that the flow fields are disturbed significantly by the rotating angles. The case of 0 ° tended to have the smallest recirculation region behind the obstruction, with the addition of smaller turbulent kinetic energy and the turbulent dissipation, which might conclude that this case is the best choice for the stabilities of flow behavior and square cylinder itself. Besides, the difference of pressures at the inlet and at the outlet is in proportion to the increased rotating angle, which might suggest that the case of 45 ° is the good option for an energy dissipater. |
英文摘要 | 本研究利用計算流體力學套裝軟體FIDAP及個人電腦來對亂流環繞過一有不同迎 向角度, 包括 0 °、15 °、30 °以及 45 °方形截面柱時所產生之二維及三維流場進行 模擬。 流場特性是採用標準的 k - ε及其延伸亂流模式來描述,而其能力是將計算結果與 具有實驗數據之例子加以比較驗證, 且並利用統計之 t 測驗來檢定三維結果之信賴度。 從 結果顯示流場受到方柱轉動角度明顯的影響, 角度為 0 °時,在障礙物後面可產生最小之 迴流區域,加上較小之亂流動能與消散率,這或可推斷該情況對流動行為及方柱本身之穩定 性為最佳選擇。除此之外,結果亦發現在入口及出口之壓力差與衝擊角度成正比關係,這也 可建議角度為 45 °情況時,其為一能量消散計不錯之選擇。 |
