英文摘要 | This paper focuses on constructing an intelligent actuated signal model for bus preemption control. Based on different traffic scenarios, the proposed system can dynamically deploy various control parameters, as well as respond to the proper active bus preemption control strategy among green extension, red truncation, and red interruption. In addition, the proposed models can also accommodate both "near-side bus stop with exclusive bus lane" and "non bus stop without exclusive bus lane" geometric conditions. To prevent the adversely control effects, a fuzzy model designed according to the used green duration can properly choose red truncation or red interruption strategy, and a system performance function is also employed to tackle the buses from four approaches in an intersection. To evaluate the system control efficiency, we apply the microscopic simulation software "CORSIM" to generate extensive real-time information for model testing. The testing results show that the intelligent actuated model with bus preemption control can outperform the other models and 4fectively reduce the total passenger-delay under various traffic conditions. |
