中文摘要 | 本研究於熱季與涼季檢定B×(D×L2)與S×(D×L2)兩種體型之三品系雜交土雞, 以生長曲線、飼料效率、屠體部位變化與生產成本等因素,探討臺灣土雞最適上市週齡之 問題。結果顯示 16週齡體重B×(D×L2)較S×(D×L2)重140~270 g,涼季較熱季重150~300 g,公雞較母雞重 400~600 g。體重越大者,受到季節的影響越大。涼季飼養的 S × (D × L2) 與熱季飼養的 B × (D × L2) 幾乎有相同的生長曲線。飼料效率公雞優於母雞型之三 B × (D × L2) 優於 S × (D × L2),涼季優於熱季。雞冠大小與睪丸重量的結果並未顯 示雞種與季節對性成熟有顯著的影響。母雞因含腹脂較多而屠宰率較低。 在 9 至 16 週齡 期間,母雞的胸部比例與公雞的腿部比例都隨週齡而持續變大,而兩性別的翅膀、腳爪、肌 胃與肝臟比例都漸變小。無論是在熱季或涼季,所有雞隻都以飼養 13 週齡可得到最低單位 生產成本。但母雞較晚熟,可能應飼養至 15~ 16 週齡才受市場接受。 |
英文摘要 | For revealing the optimal age to market Taiwan Country chicken, this study was carried out in hot and cool seasons to test growth curve, feed efficiency, changes of carcass parts and production costs of B × (D × L2) and S × (D × L2) three-strain cross chickens. Results indicated that body weight at 16 weeks of age of B × (D × L2) was 140~270 g heavier than S × (D × L2), those reared in cool season was 150~300 g heavier than those in hot season, and that of the male was 400~600 g heavier than the female. Those with heavier body weight were affected more by seasonal effects. Thus, the growth curve of S × (D × L2) reared in cool season was almost the same as that of B × (D × L2) reared in hot season. For feed efficiency, the male were better than the female, B × (D × L2) was better than S × (D × L2), and cool was better than hot season. Results of comb size and testes' weight suggested that neither type of chicken nor season had any effect on sexual maturity. Dressing percentage of the female was lower than that of the male due to carrying more abdominal fat. From 9 to 16 weeks of age, proportions of breast in the female and that of things and legs in the male continuously increased, and proportions of wings, shanks and feet, gizzard and liver in either gender decreased with age. Raised either in hot or cool season, every type of chicken marketed at 13 weeks of age resulted in the lowest production cost. However, the female matured late, and they might not be accepted by the market until 15 or 16 weeks of age. |
