中文摘要 | 甲基丙烯酸系紫外光硬化透明塗料雖然具有優異的塗膜性質,但仍會受環境因子 影響而剝落或黃化,本試驗以合成的丙烯酸酯代替甲基丙烯酸酯調配塗料,可以改善塗膜剝 落問題。 又為了避免低分子量光安定劑易流失之問題, 本試驗亦研製接枝型光安定劑 (BPMA) 及薩羅型光安定性低聚合體,並評估其對紫外光硬化透明塗料耐久性之影響。 由試 驗結果發現,BPMA 對壓克力透明塗料有很好的光安定效果,但卻會使塗膜不易硬化, 其中 ,又對以 Irgacure 184 為光引發劑之塗膜影響較大。薩羅型光安定性低聚合體之研製係將 柳酸苯酯直接接枝於壓克力低聚合體上,以此調配之薩羅型紫外光硬化塗料,雖然抑止光變 色能力較 BPMA 稍差,卻不會阻礙塗膜硬化。 |
英文摘要 | Although the properties of UV-curable methacrylic coating is as excellent as other clear wood coatings, it is still susceptible to yellowing or flaking induced by outdoor environmental factors. Acrylic oligomer synthesized in this study was used ot formulate UV-curable acrylic coating. Wood coated with this acrylic coating exhibited better flaking resistance than one coated with methacrylic coating in Q-U-V accelerated weathering test. Light stabilizers were commonly used to improve the durability of coatings. Grafted ultraviolet light absorber (BPMA) and salol modified oligomer (UAS) were synthesized to increase the molecular mass of light stabilizers. BPMA was obtained by reacting 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone with glycidyl methacrylate. The results revealed that BPMA was helpful in improving the lightfastness of acrylic and methacrylic clear coated wood, but decreased the curing rate of coatings. Among the formulations of coatings using BPMA, curing retardation was observed, especially when the initiator employed was Irgacure 184. UAS was obtained by grafting salol with acrylic oligomer. UAS would not affect the curing time of coating, but was less effective than BPMA in inhibiting the photo-degradation of clear coated wood. |
