中文摘要 | 環境問題不斷衍生,讓學生越早接觸、探索環境問題,就越能防止產生問題及有解 決這些問題的能力,所以小學環境教育是非常重要的。 周昌弘等人於民國八十年所完成的「中華民國環境教育概念綱領草案」,包含六個大綱領, 其中第三個綱領為「地球上的資源有限,人口不能過度成長」,共涵蓋五個次綱領,本計畫 擬就此綱領作研究探討。 本研究計畫目的為,鑑定網領草案第三綱領有關「資源與人口」的次綱領下涵蓋的概念,及 探討各概念在小學各學科不同年段之適切性。 「國民小學自然資源與人口概念之適切性研究」以準德懷術 (Modified Delphi Technique) 研究法,發展一份問卷,以隨機分層取樣式抽取925名國小教師進行問卷調查,調查結果 鑑定出五個次綱領下共含27個概念,並由問卷調查結果得知,以年級分其中有22個(8 2%)概念適合融入高年級教學,5個(18%)概念適合融入中年級教學。如以科目分, 有17個(63%)概念適用於社會科,10個(37%)概念適用於自然科。 此外,其所具有之前瞻性環境教育概念之探討,有助於現有課程之修訂,更適合做為發展及 編定新課程教材和訓練環境教育有關師資之依據。 |
英文摘要 | Natural environmental problems occur continuously worldwide. We believe that all students, the younger the better, should have chances to study this problem so they can remedy or even prevent them from happening in the future. For this to occur, teaching the concepts of environmental education in elementary schools is essential. In 1990, Mr. Chang-hong Chou and his group of scientists completed "A draft of the Framework of Environmental Education Conceptual Scheme for the Republic of China." It contains six conceptual scheme. The third part entitled "There is only a limited amount of natural resources and human beings can not over populate the world" contains five principles. This research project develops a detailed concept under this third part. This research project, "A Study of the Appropiateness about Teaching Natural Resources and Population Concepts in Elementary Schools in Taiwan", used the modified Delphi technique, to develop a questionnaire which was surveyed to 925 elementary teachers. The final report contains twenty-seven concepts from the "Natural Resources & Population." Twenty-two of them are appropriate for upper grade (fifth & Sixth grades) and five are for middle grade (third & Fourth grades). Seventeen of them are suitable for Social Science classes, and ten for Nature Science classes. Hopefully this research project will help refine the contemporary instructional materials used for environmental education in elementary schools. It also can serve as the foundation for developing and sequencing environmental perspective instructional materials, and for teacher preparation program of environmental education. |
