中文摘要 | 為探討仔豬血清中口疫(foot-and-mouth disease; FMD)中和抗體消長情形及仔豬之免疫適期,乃選取甲、乙兩個豬場6週齡仔豬共80頭,並將各場仔豬隨機平均分成2組:第1組為不免疫繆,第2組為10及14週齡免疫繆。將這些試驗豬隻逐週採血檢測FMD中和抗 體力價,直到16週齡為止。結果發現:甲、乙兩個豬場的FMD移行抗體在未免疫前逐週迅速下降,但兩場間同週齡之FMD幾何平均力價差共甚大,大,未免疫之6週齡仔豬FMD抗體,甲場為16倍,乙場為82倍,10週齡時甲場為4倍,乙場仍高達13倍。經10及14週齡免疫後,甲場仔豬於16週齡時幾何平均力價達64倍,且有90%豬隻力價≧16倍,而乙場仔豬的幾何平均力價則僅15倍,且僅50%豬隻力價≧16倍。由上可知,由於血清中和抗體消長之不同,不同之豬場免疫適期可能不同;在本試驗中,甲場仔豬免疫適期為10及14週齡,乙場仔豬免疫適應為14及18週齡。 另為了瞭解市售不同牌或不同病毒株所製造的FMD疫苗對FMD野外病毒O Taiwan株之中和效力,乃選取市售6種廠牌疫苗進行免疫效力試驗。其方法為選取FMD抗體陰性之8週齡仔豬140頭,隨機平均分成7組,以各廠牌FMD疫苗於8及12週齡免疫,並於8,12及14週齡檢查FMD抗體。結果發現:經各廠牌疫苗免疫2次後的仔豬,FMD幾何平均力價依次分別為Aftogen牌(O Taiwan株)102.8倍,Aftopro牌(O Taiwan株)81.6倍,Aftogen牌(O Campos株)57.7倍,Aftopor牌(O Manisa株)44.8倍,Aftovac牌(O Manisa株)3.2倍及Bavovac牌(O Manisa株)3.1倍,而不免疫之對照者為3倍。可見不同廠牌或病毒株的FMD疫苗免疫效果有很大的差異;前4牌良好,後2牌則無效果。豬場應慎選優良疫苗以確保免疫效果。 |
英文摘要 | To evaluate the fluctuation of serum-neutralizing antibody (SNAb) titer and an optimal foot-and –mouth disease pig vaccination program, the researchers conducted a study on 80 pigs on two farm. The six-weeks-old pigs were randomly divided into two groups. Pigs of Group 1 served as control without vaccination; pigs of Group 2 were vaccinated at 10 and 14 weeks of age. Blood samples were collected weekly from 6 to 16 weeks old, and then the geometric mean titers of FMDV SNAb were evaluated. The results reveal the titers of maternal SNAb of FMDV declined rapidly before vaccination, and the titers of the same age pigs in these two farms were rather different. At the start of this study, the titer of Farm A was 16 and Farm B was 82; the titer drop to 4 and 13, respectively, when the pigs were 10 weeks old. After vaccination, the titers of Group. 2 in Farm A reached 64, and 90% of them were more than 16, whereas in Farm B the titers merely reached 15, and only 50% of them were more than 16. This shows that an optimal vaccination program should be different for farms with dissimilar titer profiles. At the completion of this study the optimal vaccination programs for pigs in Farm A were determined to be 10 and 14 weeks old and for pigs in Farm B 14 and 18 weeks old. |
