中文摘要 | 正顎外科矯正或齒顎矯正,均需依靠測顱X光分析,方能得到一個正確 診斷及完善治療計劃。本文所介紹之「比率」測量分析法----弧線分析法,特性 為以頭部本身各部位相互變數間所共有特性之顱外一點,為參考基準點,不需記 憶統計學上標準值,即可顯示出個體之標準型態。且八四個參考平面取代以往傳 統「線一角分析法」之單一參考平面作分析,不僅可去除個人差異,更無所謂族 群差異或種族差異。本報告以臨床正顎外科常見之二病例,分別以其術前、術後 測顱X光,及術前、術後複合照片等資料作示範闡述,足見此法乃不失為一既簡 單又良好之診斷方法。 |
英文摘要 | Numerous roentgenographic cephalometric analysis can be found in theliterature up to the date. There are two main categories of cephalometric analysisaccepted by clinical dentistry. The first one deals with linear-angularmeasurement of selected angles and planes. The second one is less concerned withthe absolute values but with more proportional, harmonious and balanced values-so called proportional measurements. The conventional linear-angular measurement analysis is generally based on asingle plane, e.g. S.N. or F.H., It can not, however, eliminate the factors ofindividual difference, racial difference and/or ethnic difference. Nonetheless, theArchial Analysis takes the extracranial reference point that is formed by acommon characted of four different planes representing fthe four different properregions in the head. It constructs a balanced and harmonious pattern by drawingtwo arcs anterior-posteriorly, while taking ANS an PNS points as the centerpoints to form two arcs to evaluate the individual facial hegiht vertically. Prior to surgical operation, the patient is generally concerned with thecosmetic results of orthognathic surgery as well as the changes of both skeketaland dental regions of the face. An open and thorough communication with thepatiens is essential before any surgical intervention. A paper surgery with ArchialAnalysis of lateral profile of cephalometric radiograph will fit the need ofexplaining the outcome of the surgery to the patient. Instead of discussingabnormal configuration against statistic standards, the Archiaal Analysis shows the patients properly balanced or compromised better balanced facial figure which is the goal of the operation. This report presents the Cephalometric Archial Analysis in two cases. In order to make comparison of the roentgenograph taken pre-and post-surgery, asuperimposition of the roentgenograph was achieved, ther are two ways of making the composite one, 1. tracing the roentgenograph and then superimposing the traces of pre-and post-surgery, 2. Directly superimposing the roentgenograph.These two ways are used in the two cases presented here, respectively. Throughthe discussion of these two cases, it shows the result of Archial Analysis is thesame as the conventional method. There, however, are advantages in ArchialAnalysis. |
