中文摘要 | 本文旨在探討美國聯邦政府企圖治理其學校的課程事務,欲期將意圖的課程和對課程的抱負轉化為學校的譯程實務時,所可以運用的各種管理策略。文中首先簡介課程控制與管理研究的源起與重要性;其次,說明美國聯邦政府教育角色的基礎與轉變,以作為瞭解其課程管理措施的背景;其後,舉例說明美國聯邦政府所可以使用的六項課程管理策略:制度的變更或建立、服務的提供、法律命令的發佈、經費的補助、知識和訊息的發現和散佈、以及忠告善導;最後,由於國內課程學界對課程管理與管理著墨不多,本文呼籲學界關心並探討此一較受忽略的領域。 |
英文摘要 | Taking the kinds of curriculum governance strategies employed by the United States' federal government as examples, this study provides an understanding of the strategies for the governance of curriculum. The emergence and significance of studies on curriculum governance and the origin and shifting of federal role in education are briefly delineated first to offer background knowledge for this study. Then, six curriculum governance strategies are identified and arranged roughly in the order of the coerciveness and the degree of intervention that each represents: system changing or building, provision of services, mandates, grants, discovery and dissemination of knowledge and information, and exhortation. Governments may utilize these six strategies to increase the possibility of transferring their intended curriculum and aspirations into classroom reality. Due to the fact that curriculum governance is a field rarely studied in Taiwan, researchers in the field of curriculum studies and educational administration should pay attention to the field of curriculum governance. |
