英文摘要 | A theoretical analysis employing the film model for isothermal gas absorption with an irreversible chemical reaction of general order (γ�嫂+γ B →products, -γ=k C C ) in the presence of interfacial resistance is performed. Numerical solutions are obtained for the model equations. The effects of major system parameters on system performance are examined. These parameters include the ratio of liquid and interfacial mass-transfer coefficients (k /ks), reaction rate parameter (M, M=k D�嵩 C��/(k)��), concentration ratio of reactants (k , k =C/C), and diffusivity ratio (D, D=D/D��). The results indicate that the reduction effect of interfacial resistance on the absorption rate is most significant with a larger k value. Furthermore, a local minimum value of the reduction factor R (=ratio of mass flux with the combined effect of chemical reaction and interfacial resistance to that with chemical reaction only) appears at some M for any particular finite value of k. For some known special cases, the present solution agrees with the previous work of other investigators. |
