英文摘要 | Mechanics is an interesting and challenging subject. Perhaps because of this, researchers in mechanics can be in many fields; from Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering to Physics and Mathematics. Doing research in mechanics does not require, in most cases, high power mathematics or advanced theory in physics. Understanding of few basic physical laws and some basic mathematics is all one needs to do research in mechanics. Very often we thought we understood the basic principles; that is, until we are confronted with a problem that seems to contradict the basic principles and our intuition. We present below several examples. |
