英文摘要 | Due to the biocompatibility of collagen, it is usually grafted or coated on polymer surfaces to enhance the interaction with cells. In this investigation, (N-ethyl-N-3 dimethyl aminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC) and 1,2-bis(2,3-epoxypropoxy) ethane (epoxy) were used in the linking reaction to graft collagen to carboxyl group enriched polyurethane (PU). Felt-like collagen was formed on the surface of PU when carbondiimide linking reaction was carried at pH 5. A fibillar collagen network was formed when the material was further incubated with collagen in phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.4 Such fibrillar collagen network was also formed on the PU surface by using epoxy as linking agent. Our results demonstrated that endothelial cells grew better on the fibrillar collagen network than on the felt-like collagen grafted PU. Such prepared materials may provide a wide applications in medicine. |
