英文摘要 | The paper discusses the spreading process of surfactant in a thin liquid film system. The generalized Frumkin absorption model is used to simulate the absorption and desorption processor of surfactant molecule on the interface of surface and bulk. The non-linear coupling evolution equations are derived using long-wave approximation and cross-section averaging method. Comparing this result to a liquid film with the insoluble surfactant, the solubility will decrease the surface concentration at the center of a liquid film and reduce the surface concentration gradient. This process will slow down the spreading rate of a liquid film. The spreading rate of a liquid film predicted by the generalized Frumkin model will be faster than that of predicted by Langmuir model. This prediction is caused by the mass reduction of desorption process using the generalized Frumkin model that leads to lower surfactant molecules transfer rate from the surface to the bulk. |
