中文摘要 | 本試驗在室內進行菸製品與食用添加物對熱帶家蚊(Culex quinquefasciatus) 幼蟲的殺蟲效應之探討。稀釋100倍之小蘇打可造成三日齡及四齡幼蟲100%的死亡率。其 致死期各為1及2.7天,其它稀釋倍數則較對照組長。食用小蘇打在稀釋200倍以內可造成 三日齡幼蟲52%的死亡率。而在稀釋150倍以內可造成四齡幼蟲57%的致死率。其它稀釋倍 數造成低於50%以下的死亡率。食用硼砂在稀釋100-1000倍以內均可造成100%的死亡率。 三日齡的致死期顯然低於對照組;而在稀釋倍數200-1000倍對四齡蟲致死期皆較對照組長 ,且隨稀釋倍數增加而增長。處理組的幼蟲皆無法進入蛹期。煙草溶液在稀釋100-1000倍 以內可造成三日齡蟲100%的死亡率;濃度100-500倍稀釋倍數可造成四齡蟲近100%的死亡率 ,而稀釋1000倍以上的處理後其幼蟲期皆較對照組長,且處理組的幼蟲皆無法進入蛹期。 煙蒂溶液可強烈且快速地100%殺死家蚊幼蟲。由以上數據得知以上方便隨手可取得食用小 蘇打、食用硼砂及湮製品溶液除在低稀釋倍數時可殺死熱帶家蚊的幼蟲。稀釋倍數較大時 可延長幼蟲期,使之延緩進入成蟲期以免叮咬人類及媒介疾病。 |
英文摘要 | The pesticidal activities of tobacco and food additives on the mosquito (Culex quinquefasciatus) were determined in the laboratory. The impact of the three different sources of water on the development of C quinquefasciatus was studied first. The highest survival rate was found when mosquito was reared in tap water, and the lowest survival rate was found when they were reared in magnetized water. The impacts of food additives to 3-day old and 4th instar mosquito larval were studied. Dilution of cooking soda at 100 times could cause 100% mortality when larvae of both stages were reared in the distilled water. The lethal time was 1 and 2.7 day, respectively. For the dilution of 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 times , the lethal time was longer than that of larvae of the control. The mortality of 3-day-old larvae was 52% when mosquito was reared in the cooking soda solution at the concentration of 200 X. The mortality of 4th instar larval was 57% when mosquito was reared at the dilution of 150 X. The mortality was lowered than 50% when the dilution lowered than 200 times. Boric acid solution could cause 100% mortality at the dilution of 100 to 1000 times. The lethal time of 3-day old larval was shorter than control at all the test dilution. However, the lethal time of 4th instar was longer than control when they were reared at 200 to 1000 fold dilution. And the lethal time was increased as the dilution decreased. All the boric acid-treated larvae could not reach pupal stage. Tobacco solution could cause 100% mortality of 3-day old larval at the dilution of 100-1000 times; and caused about 100% mortality of 4th instar larval at the dilution 100-500 times. The larval stage was longer thancontrol when mosquito was reared at tobacco solution at the 1000 folddilution. All the treated larvae could not become pupae. Other tobaccosolutions preparation could cause 100% mortality. From the present data,all these kitchen food additives and tobacco product could cause the highmortality at high concentration. Meanwhile, those solution could extendthe larval stage at lower concentration which was able to extend the larvalstage to form adult stage and decreased the chance to bite human. |
