英文摘要 | Adopting the abort landing instead of penetration landing is preferable for an aircraft landing approach, if the altitude of aircraft is sufficiently high when the presence of a windshear is detected. The pilot frequently initiates the abort landing process by a rapid ascending, high-angle-of-attack flight strategy to avoid a windshear encounter at lower altitudes. However, an excessive altitude gain is followed by a subsequent loss in the kinetic energy. Hence, the loss in speed results in a severe loss of lift, and typically, the abort landing plan is doomed to fail. The suggested optimal recovery technique being characterized by a rapid descent in the angle of attack from the stick-shaker value, then followed by a gradual increase in the angle of attack, is capable of recovering the aircraft from the undesirable high potential energy state having resulted from the initiation of a high-angle-of-attack flight upon the windshear onset. |
