英文摘要 | The project was to study the oxidation reduction processes and distribution of copper ions inside the Y typed zeolite holes. The interaction of copper ions with zeolites was studied by measuring the EPR spectra at different temperatures and the oxidative and reductive environments. In this study, oxygen and hydrogen were used as the oxidant and reductant, respectively. No EPR signal was detected for the copper-exchanged zeolites both after 15hr dehydration at 400°C and under the reductive condition at 700torr and 400°C for 6hr. The EPR results suggest that Cu(II)ions might be self-reduced to Cu(I) ions during the dehydrating process. The different degrees of copper-exchanged zeolites, after being treated under the oxidative and reductive processes, were also measured by EPR spectroscopy and different EPR signals were observed. Different EPR signals could be resulted from the strength of interactions of the copper ions with zeolite. The interaction strength could be related to the distribution of copper ions inside the zeolite holes for different degrees of exchanged zeolites. |
