英文摘要 | This paper concentrates on the introduction of the library and informationscience education on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in two aspects: a retrospect anda comparison-a retrospect on the development in the two fields on both sidesincluding the activation of the departments and the graduate schools of the libraryand information science, emphasis on the compilation of the library specializationmaterials, streemline the educational levels of the library and information science,special attention to the on-the-job training for the incumbent library workers, andthe improvement of the curricula design; and a comparison of the similarities anddifferences in the following six sectors: educational objectives, curricula design,requirements of the required and elective courses, educational implementation, schoollevels, and the faculty members. |
