中文摘要 | 推論是閱讀理解的重要歷程,其定義是指讀者在所閱讀資料中,對未加詳細說明的部分,加入一些有助於理解的資料。目前關於推論的主要研究議題為(1)讀者經常會有那些型式的推論?(2)什麼時候產生推論?本文即根據這兩方面的問題,分別介紹十一種的推論型式與七種的研究方法。 介雯衁漱一種推論的型式為:(1)參考性的、(2)因果關係的前提、(3)因果關係的結果、(4)工具、(5)名詞類別的舉例、(6)上位目標、(7)下位目標/行動、(8)狀態、(9)主題、(10)讀者的情緒、(11)作者的意圖或態度。 而七種推論的研究方法為:(1)辨認、(2)字彙辨識(3)念出字音、(4)線索回憶、(5)立即回憶(6)問答、(7)口語資料分析。 此外,本文探討推論的表徵與歷程,並在結論部分強調它們是成功的閱讀理解之中心,不只是一般書籍的閱讀;對於科學教科書的閱讀,從學生閱讀科學文章所作的自我解釋,發現推論與學習成就有顯著的關係。 |
英文摘要 | Forming inferences is an important process during reading comprehension. Readers usually generate inference that are not explicitly stated in the text. There are two major issues in the current research of inferences: (1)What types of inferences take place? (2)When do these inferences occur? In this paper, we discuss eleven types and seven research methods of inferences to uncover these issues. The eleven types of inferences are: (1)referential (2)causal antecedent (3)causal consequence (4)instrument (5)instantiation of noun category (6)superordinate goal (7)subordinate goal/action (8)state (9)thematic (10)emotion of reader (11)author's intent or attitude. The seven research methods of inferences are: (1)recognition (2)lexical decision (3)naming (4)cued recall (5)immediate recall (6)question answering (7) verval protocol analysis. In addition, we inquire about the representation and proced ural aspects of inferences and discuss how their development is the center of successful reading , not only in the reading of general books, but also in the reading of scientific textbooks. Resaults from the current research of studying scientific texts through self-explanation reveals that there are significant relationships between inference and learning achievement. |
