中文摘要 | 本研究之目的,在於經由競值途徑建立整合的觀念性架構與研究命題,以分析初始條件對組織轉型的效應。研究發現當選取組織之變革迫力與成長危機為兩軸時,組織轉型可以適當地循競值途徑區分成策略性轉型、改良作業、總體自我更新與改善策略性顧客滿足等四種類別,並且分別符合競值架構中的理性目標模式、內部過程模式、開放系統模式與人群關係模式。這種途徑下的架構不僅較現有的思考觀點更能超越知覺上之偏誤,進而獲得關於組織轉型廣泛而兼容的洞悉,也提供未來實證研究更開闊的空間。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this article is to propose an integrated conceptual framework and research propositions analyzing how initial conditions affect organizational transformation within the competing values approach (CVA). We find that forces for change and crises of organizational growth should be selected as the meaningful axes of the competing values framework, thus form a CVA-oriented framework for organizational transformation consisting of strategic transformation (rational goal model), improving operations (internal process model), corporate self- renewal (open systems model), and improving strategic constituency's satisfaction (human relations model). This approach not only extends current thinking on organizational transformation, and provides us a more comprehensive framework to gain insights into the mechanisms operating beyond perceptual biases, but also suggests opportunities for empirical research in the future. |
