中文摘要 | 大學學生評鑑教師教學效果之制度在國外實施已久,相關的研究亦頗 多,可惜國內尚在起步階段,在實務與研究上仍有待努力。由於廣泛蒐集大學學 生評鑑教師教學效果之資料在國內仍有其困難,故本研究以研究者本身的教學為 例,進行相關問題的探討與分析。 本研究的受試學生共有12班446位,他們都是研究者在七十八年度間授課的學生; 由他們在學期末以修訂的「教學評量表」評鑑研究者之教學效果。結果發現:(一) 受試學生在「教學評量表」各題的反應,多數持積極看法。(二)受試學生主觀評 分、學科成就與「教學評量表」四個因素與總分之間,多數呈顯著正相關。(三) 受試各班在「教學評量表」總分與主觀評分之平均數上有顯著差異存在。(四)進 修部學生在「教學評量表」四個因素與總分之評鑑上,顯著的高於大學部學生。 (五)受試學生具名與否在教學效果評鑑上多數並無顯著差異。(六)高、低不同學 科成就組別之學生在「教學評量表」各因素與各題目之反應上,並無顯著不同。 研究者最後根據研究發現,對實施學生評鑑教學效果之制度、學生評鑑教學效果 之研究及研究者本身之教學提供建議與改進意見。 |
英文摘要 | Although students' evaluations of teaching effectiveness are widely usedat North American universities, they are unpopular and limited in Taiwan. Themain purpose of the study was to explore the related issues of students'evaluations of teaching effectiveness at the university, based on author'steaching effectiveness which was evaluated by his own students in 1988-1989 academic year. Subjects, 446 students belonging to 12 classes of Changhua Unirersity ofEducation taught by the author, were investigated by Evaluations of Teaching Effectiveness Scale at the end of the semester. The results indicatedthat: 1). Most of students were positively response to the teaching effectiveness of the author showed on items of Evaluations of Teaching Effectiveness Scale. 2). There had significantly positive correlations among students' overallevaluation score, achievement, four factors of teaching effectiveness and total score of evaluations. 3). Different classes' students had significantly different results of evaluations of teaching effectiveness. 4). Students of in-service education had higher evaluation of teaching effectiveness than college students. 5) Anonymous and named students responded no differences in theevaluations of teaching effectiveness. 6). High and low achievement students mostly had same viewpoints onteaching effectiveness. Finally, suggestions concerning the system of students' evaluations ofuniversity teaching and author's teaching were made. |
