英文摘要 | Petrological studies of metabasite and associated garnet-bearing schist in the Sinkang area were carried out in the present study. The metabasite exhibits pillow structure, indicating that the igneous precursor of the metabasite was emplaced in a submarine environment. Epidotite occurs at the pillow borders, suggesting that the precursor has been hydrothermally altered in an oceanic environment. Both metabasite and associated schist were suggested as belonging to the Tananao Metamorphic Complex, indicating a complicated metamorphic history. The disturbed �渙r/�觠r age spectrum of actinolite is in accord with this postulation. Both rock types show simple and typical greenschist facies mineral assemblages, probably indicating that different stages of metamorphic events experienced by the rocks might have taken place under similar or successively higher P-T conditions. The estimated conditions for the last stage of metamorphism are T = 410 to 430 ℃, P > 2Kb, and Xco�� < 0.15 (assuming Pfluid = Ptotal). The oxygen fugacity of the metamorphic fluid was also locally buffered by the rocks. |
