中文摘要 | 本試驗探討硫酸及磨擦處理對黃野百合(Crotalaria pallida)及南美豬屎豆 (C. zanzibarica)種子硬實的解除效果,並對處理過的種子用單粒種子電導度測定儀 ASAC-1000配合電腦程式ASACTEST,測定種子浸水期間電解質滲漏速率,以期 提出快速釐訂該二處理最適時間的方法。南美豬屎豆種子在濃硫酸中處理10-20 分鐘,可得到最高發芽率及正常苗率,超過20分鐘則異常苗率大為增加。黃野百 合種子在濃硫酸中處理40分鐘,可得到最高發芽率及正常苗率;處理時間10秒鐘 時,種子受傷比率顯著提高。對黃野百合種子進行10秒鐘的磨擦處理,解除硬實 的作用最大;時間延至15秒以後,異常苗率才顯著上升。硫酸或磨擦處理皆可促 使種子提早達到電解質滲漏速率的高峰,顯示種皮多處受損。磨擦處理處理時間 適宜時,高峰期分散在浸水期間,因此可用單粒種子電解質滲漏速率快速地來鑑 定適宜的磨擦處理時間。此法對硫酸處理適宜時間的釐訂能力較差。 |
英文摘要 | Sulfuric acid and scarification treatments were conducted to testtheir effects on the hard seeds of Crota-aria paMc/a and C.zai]ZJ'barJca. The suitable duration of the treatments was monitoredby the seed permeability, indicated by the peak electrolyte leaching rates of individual seeds, which were measured with ASAC-1000 and acomputer programme ASACTEST. Highest percentage germination andpercentage normal seedling of C. zanzsbarica was obtained by 10-20minutes soaking in concentrated sulfuric acid, while soaking time over20 minutes or longer produced significantly more abnormal seedlings.In Crotalaria pallida, 40 minutes soaking produced best result withoutinjuring the seeds. By scarifying machine, 1 second was enough tobreak the hardseedness of the C. zanzibatica completely withoutinjury, while scarifying over 10 seconds or longer producedsignificantly more abnormal seedling. In Crotalaria paMda , 1-10seconds resulted in highest percentage germination and percentagenormal seedling. The permeability studies showed that longerduration of scarification brought the distribution of the peak electolyteleaching rate of the seeds into the early phase of imbibition, whileunder optimum duration, the peaks of leaching rate of the seeds werescattered within 9 hours of imbibition. We concluded that, for bothspecies the test of electrolyte leaching rate was a rapid monitoringprocedure for the determination of the proper scarifying duration. The test was not satisfying in respects of sulfuric acid treatment. |
