中文摘要 | 本篇文章回顧了形狀特徵(Fonn Feature)的定義與創成方法。同時也介紹了ISO-10303 (STEP)所定義的標準形狀特徵。STEP是一個涵蓋整個產品生命週期的工程資料標準。本研究提出了一個以STEP為基礎的物件導向應用結構與方法。文中提供了建構一個可由電腦來處理的應用協議(Application Protocol)應有的程序。其中包括將標準形狀特徵的物件類別結構轉化成C⁺⁺程式語言的物件類別庫。此物件類別庫不僅代表了形狀特徵之資訊模組(Information Model),同時也可替代工程應用系統的物件資料結構關係圖(Data Schema)。文中將以例子展示STEP的形狀特徵如何透過此物件庫,被用來描述一個製造零件。 本研究提供了解決現存之不同應用領域或系統間必須存在的複雜資料轉換器(Data Translator)所造成的問題。為了免除工程應用軟體受限其所繼承的特定資料架構;將各種應用系統透過以STEP為基礎的工程資訊標準化過程,來整合成Trauslator-Free的同步工程環境,將會是工程應用系統必須面臨的近程課題之一。 |
英文摘要 | This paper reviews feature definitions and methodologies of creating features; and introduces the STEP form feature, which is part of the new generation standards (ISO 10303) for engineering product description in the computer-aided software systems. The Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data (STEP) is a neurtral mechanism capable of completely representing product data throughout the life cycle of a product. This research proposes an object-oriented approach to implement STEP-based applications. A computer processable Application Protocol (AP) is documented as an object class structure and implemented in the form of a class library. The AP acts as a feature-based information model and the persistent object data schema for engineering applications. Objects in the class library are the templates of STEP form features. Examples for the use of this class library are illustrated. An alternative approach to develop a STEP-based concurrent engineering environment by constructing APs for engineering applications will be examined. The work provides the basis to overcome the need for complex data translators between multidiscipline applications. The process for integrating existing application programs into a STEP-based concurrent engineering environment is necessary in the near future of data translator-free applications not bound by legacy systems. |
