英文摘要 | Developing high-caliber instructional publications on the library’s online catalog is a challenge many librarians face when they implement a new information retrieval system. The process is very demanding of time, labor, and money. However important this work may be, finding help and suggestions along the way is not always easy. Although much has been written on the difficulties of writing clear and concise computer documentation, relatively few practical articles address the topic of designing printed OP AC instruction al materials for the public and how much this process will cost. This paper provides guidance for those librarians involved in this endeaver by presenting a case study at Cornell University, Ithaca. New York. |
