英文摘要 | Two cultivars of French marigold seedlings and spider ivy divisions, were grown on peat/vermiculite/perlite (1: 1: 1) mixture amended with slow-release fertilizer Osmocote (N-P-K, 14-14-14) 6g/1. Compare the results of plants growing in water-maintenable pot and in common pot. The diameter of water-maintenable pot is 15 cm and the water-holding capacity is about 1 liter. It should be complemented with water by every two to four weeks depended on different type of plants. The fresh weight and flower number of French marigold in water-maintenanable pot, were similar to that of cultivated in common pot with ordinary management, but had more fresh weight, more bud number, less abortive bud number and made significant difference from that of every 5 days or 10 days irrigated and cultivated in common pot. However, fresh weight of tops and roots of spider ivy in water-maintenanable pot, would be very similar with every 5 days irrigated ones in common pot. Whereas, spider ivy with ordinary management in com-mon pot grew best among all the trials. The stomata of the leaf of spider ivy only occur in the lower surfaces and are sunken below the surface of the epidermis, which makes distinctively difference from the stomata of French marigold which distribute on the entire surface and protrude above the surface of the epidermis. |
