英文摘要 | An analysis is presented for combined free and forced convection about a permeable vertical slender cylinder immersed in a saturated porous medium. Both buoyancy aiding and opposing flows are considered. It is found that the parameter governing combined convection from vertical cylinders is Gr/Re. The effects of transverse curvature parameter, buoyancy parameter, inertia parameter and wall mass transfer on the velocity and temperature fields as well as on the local Nusselt number are clearly illustrated. |
