英文摘要 | Metapeneus ensis juveniles (1.07 cm, 0.012 g wet weight) were exposed to different concentrations of ammonia (NH3+NH4+) by static-renewal method in 25 ppt seawater at pH 7.70 and 25℃. The 24, 48, 72,, 96, 120, 144 and 168-h LC50 values were 89.30, 71.90, 61.36, 35.59, 23.25, 11.84 and 8.80 mg/L for ammonia-N (un-ionized plus ionized ammonia as nitrogen) and 2.19, 1.76, 1.50, 0.87, 0.578, 0.29 and 0.22 mg/L for NH3-N (un-ionized ammonia as nitrogen). The "threshold" was found at 168-h and the "incipient LC50" was 8.80 mg/L for ammonia-N and 0.22 mg/L for NH3-N. A "safe level" for rearing M. ensis juveniles was 0.88 mg/L for ammonia-N and 0.02 mg/L for NH3-N. |
