英文摘要 | Thirty nine healthy males were subjected an average America1n Diet (AD) of 38% fat (18% Saturated fat (SF), 10% Polyunsaturated fat(PF), 10% Monounsaturated fat (MF) and 500mg/day cholesterol for 10 weeks and then they were divided into 3 groups: one group continued on consuming the AD; the second group switched to a monounsaturated fat enriched diet (MD) of 38% fat (10%SF, 10%PF, 18%MF) and 250mg/day cholesterol; and the third group switched to the American Heart Association Step 1 Diet of 30% fat (10%SF, 10%PF, 10%MF) and 250mg/day cholesterol. Each group consumed these diets for another 10 weeks. Plasma lipids and lipoprotein phospholipids (PLs) were measured. The consumption of both the Step 1 Diet and MD reduced total plasma cholesterol, triglyceride and LDL-cholesterol. Fasting lipoprotein PLs were not significantly different among the three groups. For postprandial lipoprotein PLs, there were significant decrease in LDL-PLs and increase in HDL-PLs in the MD group compared with AD group. When postprandial PLs were compared with fasting PLs in all subjects during the AD period, postprandial VLDL-PLs increased significantly. Unlike data from other studies, postprandial HDL-PLs did not increase on the AD. |
