英文摘要 | Plastic cans and paper containers are excellent raw materials for the food packaging industry. A good example is the intermediate packaging of nori, or dried seaweed in a transparent plastic can which is moisture proof and provides isolation from oxygen and aromas. In general, the physical properties of plastic are better than those of paper; usually nori is packed in cellophane then put in a plastic can. Unfortunately, from the viewpoint of environmental protection, the product seems to be over-packaged and thus exerts a high impact upon the environment. If the costs of waste treatment, the value of recycling to environmental protection and the property of light isolation are considered, then the paper container is better than the plastic can for use in the dry food packaging industry. |
