中文摘要 | 近年來隨著資訊科技的發展,電腦周邊設備相關的應用科技也愈趨成熟。擁有一套隨身化的訊息處理設備--貼身的電子夥伴,利用各種可能的方式來處理資訊,已經不再是夢想。本文提出隨身化電腦產品設計實例--〝貼身的電子夥伴〞,就是以目前的資訊科技為背景,從人因工程的觀點,以人機介面分析為主,嘗試解決隨身化資訊產品設計所牽涉的問題。例如,資訊的處理模式、資訊相關的輔助設備、人/機/環的互動關係、人/工具/工作之間交互影響的關係等。〝貼身的電子夥伴〞的設計,先從人因工程的觀點探討人機介面相關的問題,再導入相關的資訊科技,研究有關工程介面的機能問題。最後,利用人因分析和工程探討的結果,來引導設計、發展構想、設計評估及設計定案。本文研究的結果,可以提供未來類似產品設計的參考。 |
英文摘要 | Along with the rapid growth and development in virtual reality (VR) applications and hardware, the personal computer (PC) will become the daily used tool of 21st century. By combining PC with telecommunications and VR technology, the stage is set for the creation of a new kind of ready-to-wear PC. Exploring the computer of tomorrow, NEC's Advanced Design Group has designed a line of wearable computers to explore how future PCs could become part of our everyday wear. For instance, NEC's "Laphody Computer" designed for reporters tangs form shoulder straps and rests on the chest, with both screen and keyboard folding out for use. The application of Industrial Design and Ergonomics to consumer products is well established. However, their application to such a new product is less common. Although these wearable computers are merely concepts, it is now time to begin making Ergonomics and important part of wearable computer designs. The key to designing such a new product, is the inclusion of the ergonomics at various stages throughout the design process beginning at a very early level. Therefore, the paper describes the ergonomics approach applied to wearable computer design to insure an appropriate interface relationship between the computer and the human body. The wearable computer design that can be applied depends upon a number of conditions that may be organized under the User-Tool-Task paradigm. This paradigm would indicate that conditions affecting the design would include User, Product, Task, Manipulation Interface, and Engagement Interface. The methodology described in this paper by which design problems were analyzed and solutions developed will be described, as will some of the engineering feature which made the final design possible. |
