中文摘要 | 本研究旨在瞭解臺灣地區幼稚園環境教育活動之實施現況並探究其影響因素。本研 究以分層系統方式抽取497所立案公私立幼稚園為樣本,每園寄發幼稚園教師用「幼稚園實 施環境教育活動調查問卷」。由收回的245份教師用問卷得知:曾經實施以「環保」為教學主 題的幼稚園66%;是否曾經實施環保教學活動在幼稚園規模大小、所在地之縣市別及地區別 上均有顯著差異;幼稚園持有環境教育幼兒圖畫書或教師參考書的比率各約為65%,其中半 數以上持有冊數均不及10冊;幼稚園實施垃圾分類、資源回收、環保戶外教學活動及環保親 職活動的比率各為37%、35%、34%及15%,前三項活動之實施與否均在幼稚園之公私立別 上有顯著差異。最後,研究者亦就幼兒環境教育施策略與未來研究方向提出多項建議供有關 單位參酌。 |
英文摘要 | This study aimed to investigate how environmental education activities were implemented in kindergartens in Taiwan. A sample of 497 public and private kindergartens was selected through systematic sampling, Each kindergarten received a copy of Teachers' "Questionnaire on Environmental Education Activities Implemented in Kindergartens." A total of 245questionnaires were collected, and the data were further analyzed with frequency distribution, chi-square test and one-way ANOVA. The major findings of the 245 Teachers' questionnaires collected were as follows: Sixty-six percent of the kindergartens had implemented educational activities aimed at environmental protection. Significant factors related to the implementation of environmental education activities included school size, the administrative level and the geographic region where a kindergarten was located. The ratios of kindergartens with story books and teachers' reference books for environmental education were 65% respectively, and more than half of the kindergartens had less than ten volumes each. The ratios of kindergartens implementing garbage classification, resources recycling, field trips and parental activities for the purpose of environmental protection are 37%, 35%, 34%, and 15% respectively. For the first three activities, public kindergartens were found different from private ones with a significantly higher rate of implementation. Finally, several recommendations were presented to the relevant authorities in regards to the implementation of early childhood environmental education and future research, hased upon the above findings. |
