中文摘要 | 本文以解析法求得在管壁條件分別為恒溫及絕熱時冪次流體在毛細管內流動因黏度耗損所引起之溫度上昇。結果發現黏度耗損會引起相當大的局部溫度上昇,實際溫度上昇數應介於當管壁為恒溫及絕熱兩種理論值之間。本研究之結果可應用在高分子加工設備之設計或用來修正非牛頓流體之物性。在計算真正流體溫度上昇之效應時,黏度為溫度及壓力之函數問題非常複雜,本文之解析解亦可做為疊代法之起始猜測解。 |
英文摘要 | An analytical solution for finding the temperature rise in a capillary flow of power law fluids with viscous heating is presented. Both isothermal and adiabatic wall conditions are considered. It has been found that viscous heating can cause significant increase in the local temperature. Actual temperature rise will be between that predicted by the adiabatic wall and the isothermal wall cases. The results of this work can be used as a first order approximation either in the design of polymer processing equipment or in the correction of fluid properties in flow measurement of a non-Newtonian fluid. The analytical solution of this work can also be used as a starting point for a more accurate treatment of the problem if viscosity is considered to be temperature and pressure dependent. |
