英文摘要 | A mathematical model is developed for prediction of the dynamic behavior of a metal hydride column. The method of characteristics and the Euler's method are used for analysis of the dynamic behavior, especially of the breakthrough time, for hydrogen-methane separation by LaNi□Al□. A correlation is established for the breakthrough time which is found to be inversely proportional to the inlet velocity. Comparison of the predicted breakthrough times with the previously reported experimental results shows satisfactory agreements. |
