中文摘要 | 本研究於聚醋酸乙烯樹脂(Polyvinyl acetate resins; PVAc)中添加過氧化二苯甲醯(Benzoyl peroxide; BPO)及偶氮二異丁基腈(2,2'-Azo-bis-isobutyronitrile; AIBN)為自由基架橋起始劑,探討添加BPO及AIBN對PVAc樹脂耐水性、耐熱性及膠合性能之改善效果;試驗過程將加熱乾燥之PVAc樹脂薄膜以浸水試驗分析其耐水性,以DSC及TGA分析其耐熱性,經加熱硬化之膠合木材測定其常態及耐水膠合強度。由試驗結果得知,添加BPO或AIBN為架橋起始劑可改善PVAc樹脂薄膜之耐水性及耐熱性,且隨添加量增加而提高,其中添加BPO之效果優於AIBN;而應用於木材膠合時,添加BPO或AIBN為架橋起始劑可改善其耐30℃水之膠合強度,其中並以加熱24hr硬化者效果最佳。 |
英文摘要 | In this study, benzoyl peroxide (BPO) and 2,2'-azo-bis-isobutyronitrile (AIBN) were used as a free-radical crosslinking initiator for polyvinyl acetate resins (PVAc). The improvement effects of BPO and AIBN on the water resistane, thermal resistance and adhesion performance of PVAc resins were investigated. Water resistane of hot-dryed PVAc films was measured by water-immersion testing. Thermal resistane was analyzed with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). The dry and wet bonding strength of hot-set glued wood were examined. The results show that the water resistane and thermal resistance of PVAc films could be improved by adding BPO or AIBN as a crosslinking initiator, and its effectiveness raised with the dosage increased. Among which, adding BPO had better effect than that of AIBN. When using for wood gluing, adding BPO or AIBN as crosslinking initiators could improve the wet bonding strength after 30℃ water immered, and it had a best effect for that set with heating for 24 hours. |
