中文摘要 | 從冶治金學理論而言,鉛元素可以促使顯微組織內第二相的形成,同時具有脆性 。所以使含鉛黃銅材料易於切削加工,但是鉛元素具有毒性不利於人體健康。 本文基於上述理由遂進行設計幾組無含鉛的黃銅材料,從下列幾點來探討加性: 一、車削力測試 二、刀具磨損觀察 三、表面粗度分析 四、切削處理性觀察比較 從實驗結果顯示: 一、就切削力而言以有含鉛元素者( 21 號)切削力值最小,編號 15 與其相近, 18 號工 作的切削力最大,約為 21 號工件的 1.62 倍。 二、就刀具磨損觀察除少數刀面有些微凹坑磨損外,因黃銅的切削性皆優於鋼鐵元件,使用 本實驗的刀具在全部的車削道次完成後,距刀具壽命終止仍保有很長的使用壽命,因此可判 斷磨損在試驗並無重大差異。 三、就工件加工完成表面粗度的觀察,所有工件的表面粗度經比較後,除受切削參數影響外 ,材料本身的組成並不至於造成很明顯的影響。 四、除了 18 號,19 號,20 號三工件的切削處理性較差外,其餘編號的工件都是一般黃銅 典型的弧狀切屑,就其在切削理論而言,尚屬適當。 |
英文摘要 | Brass alloys have good machinability, smooth surface, and extensive application. Brass alloys are widely used in the products of the fine industries such as watches and bathroom-ware such as faucets. Presently, brass alloys are largely used in faucet die casting in domestic market. The basic components of brass alloys are: Cu, Zn, and Pb, etc. In terms of the theory of metallurgy, metal can be embrittled when lead is added in the coures of theformation of the second phase of microstructure. Accordingly, brass containing lead would be capable of cutting metal with ease, however, lead is a toxic element and hazardous to health. For these reasons, this article is to discuss the machinability of brass alloys by designing various sets of lead-free brass material, and the discussions are elaborated from the following perspectives: 1. Analysis of the result of cutting force measurement; 2. Observatory analysis of tool wearing; 3. Analysis on the roughness of surgace of finished mental; and 4. Observatory analysis of working properties of mental. The results of this experiment may be summarised as follows: (1) As far as the cutting force is concerned, #21 gives the smallest cutting force, and which is similar to #15; #18 gives the largest cutting force, and which is approximately 1. 62 times of that of #2 1. (2) Under the observatory analysis of wearing properties of tools, all the tools employes in this experiment are still in good condition after the required cutting process is completed, except that some minor cracks and wearings are fouund on the surface of the tools; the tools can be further used for a considerable period of time before they become disposable. (3) Under the observation of the roughness of surface of finished mental, the roughness of the surface is relatively influenced by the cutting parameters, not by the composition of the material. (4) With reference to working properties of the metal, #18, #19 and #20 give inferior process properties, and #17 is closely related to the cutting parameters (depth, feeding rate); other finished mental has the connonly -adopted type of cutting curve, and its working properties are acceptable. |
