中文摘要 | 為探究乳牛於分娩前嗜中性白血球、皮質醇、維生素與微量礦物質等血液性狀上之變化,以及緊迫對各性狀的影響。試驗以季節(熱季、涼季)與遮蔭處理(完全遮蔭、有限遮蔭)為複因子,經、初產為區集進行試驗,自預產期前21天(熱季)與前25天(涼季)至分娩當天。參與試驗牛隻分別為熱季試驗8頭(經、初產各半),涼季試驗5頭(經產4頭、初產1頭)荷蘭懷孕母牛。牛隻自預產期前21天開始至分娩當天結束,每兩天採血一次。採血時間為早上8:00~9:00,每次自尾根採血50 ml。分析項目包括血液中嗜中性白血球數、血清中皮質醇、銅、鐵、鋅、維生素A與維生素E濃度。結果發現,熱季牛隻採食量於分娩前的試驗期間無明顯變化趨勢,而涼季牛隻採食量隨著愈近分娩而有下降趨勢;越接近分娩,牛隻血液中嗜中性白血球數越高;分娩前血清中皮質醇濃度呈現一次線性的上升模式(p<0.05,增加約0.31~4.89倍),血清中鐵、維生素A與維生素E濃度於分娩前八天內有下降趨勢(鐵下降4.55~3.60%;維生素A下降17.87~64.10%;維生素E下降17.54~62.25%),但不達統計顯著性水準。血清中皮質醇於熱季時有較涼季時為低之濃度(p<0.05),血清中維生素A與維生素E則同時受季節與遮蔭處理交感效應之顯著影響(p<0.05)。 |
英文摘要 | For studying the changes of serum vitamins and trace minerals concentrations of prepartum Holstein dairy cows in different seasons and the effects of heat stress on the blood parameters, the experiment was designed to include the season (hot and cold season) and the degree of shading (complete shade and limiting shade) as factors and the multiparous and primparous cows as blocks. The experimental period started from the 21th day (hot season) or 25th day (clod season) before predicted calving date to the day of calving. The number of dairy cows in hot season experiment were 8 (including 4 of multiparous and 4 of primparous) and in cold season were 5 (including 4 of multiparous and 1 of primparous) Holstein pregnant cows. From the 21th day before predicted calving date to the day of calving, 50 ml blood was drawn from cattle tail vein once every two days during 8:00-9:00AM. Measurements included the blood neutrophil number, serum cortisol, Cu, Fe, Zn, vitamin A, and Vitamin e concentrations. The result indicated that the DM intake of dairy cows decreased from prepartum to calving during the cold season, but not during hot season. The blood nutrophil number of dairy cows was higher and higher when the day approached calving date. Serum cortisol concentration showed the linear ascend before calving (p<0.05, increasing 0.31-1.89 times). Serum Fe, vitamin A and vitamin E concentrations tended to decrease during the 8 days prepartum (Fe conc, decreased 4.55-39.60%; serum vitamin a conc, decreased 17.81-64.10%; serum vitamin E conc, decreased 17.54-62.25%), but not statistically significant. Serum cortisol concentration is lower in hot season than in cold season (p<0.05) and serum vitamin A and vitamin E are affected significantly by the interaction of season and shading (p<0.05). |
