中文摘要 | 超音波非破壞試驗技術除可應用於木材力學性質之評估外,並可應用於樹木樹幹 內部是否腐朽之生物品質評估。本報告係以金門地區木麻黃(Casuarina equisetifolia Frost.)造林木為對象,進行超音波測試,除就不同胸徑樹幹測定徑向之音波穿透時間外,並 利用圓盤從中心作人工打洞,探討孔洞大小對圓盤徑向(180°)及90°方向音波穿透速度之 影響。此外並以行道樹為對象,實際探測樹幹是否發生心腐,成效良好。試驗所獲結果如下: 1.原木徑向之超音波穿透時間與原木直徑成顯著直線相關性。 2.圓盤90°之方向與徑向(180°)穿透時間之比值隨孔徑之增大而減小,此一現象可作 為評估樹幹心腐程度之依據。 3.木麻黃行道樹之測試結果顯示,正常木之90°方向與180°方向之穿透時間比值介於 0.76-0.83,而心腐木之比值較正常木為小,介於0.38-0.54;另一方面,心腐木之徑向音波 穿透時間遠大於同直徑之正常木者。徑向音波穿透時間以及90°與180°方向穿透時間比值 之測定可有效應用於樹幹心腐之探測上。 |
英文摘要 | The quality assessments of living trees can be divided into two kinds: the elastic quality of heartwood regarding the industrial value of the wood product, especially in timber engineering, and biological internal quality related to wood decay. Both of them can be non-destructively evaluated by ultrasonic method. The biological internal quality of standing trees can be evaluated by measuring the ultrasonic transmitting time on the radial axis of the tree trunk. In this study, hardwood trees of Polynesian iron wood (Casuarina equisetifolia Frost.) were used to measure the transverse transmitting time of ultrasound. Effects of heartwood decay on the transmitting time were discussed. The main results were: 1. The radial transmitting time of log increased with the increase of log diameter, showing a significant linear relationship. 2. The ratio of transmitting time in 90° direction to that in radial (180°) direction decreased with the increase of interior hole diameter of wood disc. This could be used to detect the decay of heartwood in trunk. 3. Using radial measurement, internal decay of tree could be detected. |
