中文摘要 | 本研究旨在翻譯、修訂Elkind與Bowen(1979)所編製的「想像觀眾量表」(Imaginary Audience Scale,簡稱;IAS)。經選取國中一年級到大學四年級共2157名學生進行研究,信度分析結果,顯示內部一致性α係數及再測信度與原量表的研究結果皆很相似;效度考驗方面,因素分析結果發現暫時性自我(TS)、與恆久性自我(AS)分量表組成題目與原量表一致;同時效度上本量表與Walters, McCoy, Boyd, Hollett,及Beare(1991)所編製的想像觀眾量表相關性不高,顯示兩個量表測量的屬面並不相同。就全量表而言,得分愈高表示想像觀眾的念頭(ideation)愈高,本研究發現性別與年級之間並沒有顯著的交互作用;在性別差異上則發現女生在IAS上的得分高於男生;而年級差別上僅發現高職一年級學生高於國中一年級學生。就分量表而言,TS在性別與年級皆沒有顯著的交互作用,在性別差異上發現女生在TS的得分高於男生,年級差異上發現高職三年級學生高於國中一年級學生;AS方面則顯示在性別與年級上有顯著的交互作用,經進行單純主要效果變異數分析後發現在性別差異上,國中一年級及大學三年級的女生高於男生,而高中一年級則男生顯著高於女生;年級之間則僅發現高中一年級男生顯著高於國中一年級男生,女生方面則沒有顯著的年級差異現象。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to translate and revise Elkind and Bowen's Imaginary Audience Scale (IAS) into a Chinese version. A total of 2157 students of the junior, senior, vocational high school and university levels responded to the revised Chinese version of IAS. The results from the reliability analysis indicate that the alpha coefficients for the internal consistency and the test-rest reliability coefficients of the Chinese version of IAS are the same high level as the result of Elkind and Bowen's study. The results of validity studies concern two factors: Transient Self (TS) and Abiding Self (AS) subscales on Chinese version. The items of subscales are similar to those in the original scale. The concurrent validity among the Chinese version of IAS, correlated only slightly with the imaginary audience scale of Walters, McCoy, Boyd, Hollett, and Beare (1991), shows that the imaginary audience of two scales do not exactly measure the same ideation. Besides, the results of the present study demonstrate that the interaction effect of sex and grade level is not significant on the Chinese version of IAS. However, the main effect of sex and grade level are found. The girls' scores are higher on the IAS than boys at all grade levels and 10th grade level of the vocational high school students are higher on IAS than 7th grade level students of the junior high school. Although the interaction effects of sex and grade level are not significantly different on TS subscales, the interaction effects of sex and grade level are obvious on AS subscale. The girls score higher on the TS than boys at all grade levels. The results of simple main effects on AS show that the girls score higher than boys at 7th grade level and the junior year students, but the boys score higher than girls at 10th grade level of the senior high school students. However, it is not the case with girls of the grade levels. |
