英文摘要 | The development of the study on Zhuang-zi in the Song Dynasty was influenced by both Han Yu of the Tan Dynasty who claimed Zhuang-zi's thinking originated from Tian Zih-Fang, and the entire Confucian atmosphere in the Song Dynasty; thus, “the introduction of Zhuang-zi's thinking into Confucian” became the mainstream, and Wang An-Shi is a prominent advocator. In addition to quoting sentences of “Zhuang-zi” in his poems and articles, Wang An-Shi also had abundant discussion and description on the study of Zhuang-zi's. He believed that critics on Zhuang-zi from those who favored Confucian and that critics on Confucian from those who favored Zhuang-zi were both results arising from insufficient comprehension on “Zhuang-zi”. If we could study in a way that “agrees on the efforts dedicated to books or doctrines, and denies the literal meanings of written words”, along with a reading method by Meng-Zih, “to deduce the mind (thoughts) of the author as a reader” and “to understand his history and time in order to deeply know his work”, and then it can be inferred that in the era of Zhuang-zi, deceptive deeds were commonplace, propriety and justice were abandoned, and people were so desperately in pursuit of fame and fortune that they became too addicted to redeem. Zhuang-zi expressed his thinking through fables trying to correct all the wrongdoing at the time. Although his efforts were similar to those of the saints, apprentices of which he still offended due to his overt and extreme correction. Wang An-Shi also distinguished Taoism from Tao Religion, believing Lao Zih and Zhuang Zi never said of the thinking of deities. Although Wang An-Shi never interpreted “Zhuang Zi”, his comments had huge impact on interpreters of “Zhuang Zi” in the Song Dynasty such as Lyu Huei-Cing, Wang Pang, and Chen Siang-Dao in the long run. |
