中文摘要 | 網路時代的來臨,勢必衝擊學校教育的實施,亦對青(少)年產生影響。植基於當代文化研究學派的視野,本研究分析於網路時代下,當今臺灣社會青(少)年文化的轉變及其教育啟示。研究結果顯示,受到網路科技、全球化與新自由主義的影響,在「就業環境嚴峻」與「過度教育」的雙重打擊下,已然造就出一群對於學業、工作、乃至於未來,皆處於茫然、漂流與不穩定的青(少)年「蒲公英族」。因此,臺灣青(少)年文化圖像已從「草莓族」逐漸轉向「蒲公英族」。有別於「草莓族」的「脆弱」文化特質,「蒲公英族」所凸顯的是「不穩定」的文化特質。此轉向的教育啟示在於:一、在怪罪青(少)年脆弱之前,「大人們」需先想想自己建構出了一個什麼樣的不穩定社會給這群年輕人;二、學校教師必須教年輕人學習跟不穩定相處;三、必須協助年輕人逐漸成為「斜槓青年」。 |
英文摘要 | Along with the upcoming era of internet world, schools and youths have been dramatically influenced. The study, based on the perspectives of Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies (CCCS), aimed to analyzing the transformation of the Taiwanese youth culture, nowadays, and its educational implications. According to the findings, under the atmosphere of internet, globalization, and neoliberalism, a group of youth “precariat”, who still feel “unstable” toward their study, work, and future, has been emerging due to the challenges of “rigid situation for employment” and “over-education.” As a result, the image of the Taiwanese youth culture has been changing gradually from “strawberry generation” to “youth precariat.” Specifically, in contrast to the main cultural trait, “fragile”, of “strawberry generation”, the main one of “youth precariat” is “unstable.” The educational implications of this transformation include: (1) before accusing the youths of being fragile, the so-called “adults” should reflect on what kind of “unstable” society they made for them; (2) teaching the youths how to get along with “being unstable”; (3) helping the youths become “slash youths.” |
