The term, "literary reading," implies that the reading method incorporates the elements and techniques commonly found in literary analysis and interpretation. It emphasizes reading texts in a way that is informed by literary principles. "Literary reading" expands beyond literary texts and can be applied widely. The article discusses the reasons, importance, principles, and instructional design of "literary reading." By cultivating deeper and broader reading abilities, integrating sensitivity and practicality, and enhancing literacy, "literary reading" aims to achieve holistic development of core competencies in students. |
