中文摘要 | 目的:參與是每一位兒童的基本人權,而兒童擁有自我表達的能力和機會為其參與決策的第一步。透過適當的工具和支持,兒童有能力可以表達自己的看法及意見。「圖示我的參與」是運用圖卡輔助訪談的方式,評估兒童參與22個家庭、學校和社區活動的情形,並了解對於兒童而言重要的活動以及相關環境因素。由於參與和環境因素具有文化特殊性,為了發展適用於臺灣地區的工具,本研究目的為進行圖示我的參與中文版應用於學齡期兒童之跨文化調整。方法:採用質性研究,收取共5位6-13歲特殊需求兒童和一般發展兒童及其家長。透過面對面認知訪談,瞭解兒童和家長對於圖示我的參與中文預試版的概念、題項、語意以及操作的看法。結果:整體而言,兒童和家長認同該工具可以應用於促進兒童表達生活經驗並藉以了解兒童的想法。雖然兒童和家長可以理解此工具測量的概念,但是題項的內容和操作方式需要修改以符合臺灣的文化和生活習慣。未來將以修訂後的版本進行心理計量特質檢驗,進一步建立跨文化效度之驗證。結論:「圖示我的參與中文版」的發展,將提供臨床上兒童自我表達參與情形的工具,專業人員可透過提供環境支持以促進兒童參與有意義的活動。 |
英文摘要 | Objective: Participation is a fundamental human right of every child. The ability and opportunity of self-expression enable children to participate in decisions. Children can express their own opinions with appropriate tools and supports. "Picture My Participation (PMP)" is a picture-supported interview to assess child-perceived participation in 22 family, school and community activities, and to report their important activities and related environmental factors. As participation and environmental factors are culturally-specific, the objective of this qualitative study was to perform cross-cultural adaption of the PMP-Chinese version (PMP-C), in order to use in school age children in Taiwan. Methods: Cognitive interviews were conducted with five children 6-13 years old with special needs and typical development, and their parents to examine the conceptual, item, semantic, and operational equivalence of the pre-final version of PMP-C. Results: Children and parents in general consider this instrument appropriate to enable children's expression of life experiences and their thoughts. Though children and parents were able to understand the concepts measured in this instrument, the items and operational procedures needed modifications to fit our culture. Further examination of psychometric properties will be needed to establish cross-cultural validation using the modified version. Conclusion: The PMP-C will provide a practically useful instrument of child-perceived participation. Professionals can use all this information information to provide environmental supports that enable children’s participation in meaningful activities. |
