英文摘要 | An image contrast enhancement algorithm using Three-scale of Adaptive Inverse Hyperbolic Tangent (3SAIHT) scheme was proposed. It has long been known that the Human Vision System (HVS) heavily depends on detail and edge in the understanding and perception of scenes. The chief goal in this paper is to produce a contrast enhancement technique to recover an image, from a blurred and darkness, also improve visual quality of it. The proposed technique consists of two steps sub-scale step and contrast enhancement step. We applied sub-scale step to the image to sub-band processing. The Adaptive Inverse Hyperbolic Tangent (AIHT) algorithm was applied in the contrast enhancement step and can bring out hidden details of the process image. The new value of remapped pixel is based on an AIHT map function. Experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to other conventional techniques. |
