中文摘要 | 本研究探究客家青少年的族群認同,認為青少年主體是置身在社會脈絡中,透過日常生活的社會位置與時空脈絡交互建構出來。研究發現,青少年族群認同有肯定/接受、對照/選擇以及模糊/去族群化三個模式,顯示家庭對於青少年而言,是一個族群認同的重要驅力與場域,它不僅包括了情境空間性與位置空間性,更是個人族群認同的關鍵。其中,家祠活動、客家慶典的參與或是語言學習皆有助於青少年族群對客家文化的肯定與接受。受到全球化衝擊時,客家青少年的族群認同逐漸薄弱,甚至去中心與去族群化現象產生時,作者建議應強化青少年的空間與情感連結。唯有透過客語、文化教育,才能深化青少年客家文化的情感連結,強化青少年的自我認識與認同,進而發展族群認同。 |
英文摘要 | The aim of this paper is to study ethnic identity among Taiwanese Hakka adolescents by adopting qualitative research method. The authors explored the challenges faced by these adolescents in modern society and argued that subjectivity of adolescents is influenced by social position variables in everyday life. The results indicated that there are three conceptual models of Hakka adolescent ethnic identity, namely recognition/acceptance, comparison/choice and blur/decentralization. From these results, parental ethnic socialization and families provide the main support for fostering Hakka adolescent ethnic identity. Moreover, life experiences are the process by which Hakka adolescent ethnic competencies are cultivated. Under the influence of globalization, Hakka adolescent ethnic identity is weakening. By learning the Hakka language or through cultural education, adolescents’ emotional bond with the Hakka ethnic identity can be strengthened. This can help Hakka adolescents to better understand themselves and their identification, resulting in empowerment and fostering of ethnic identity. |
