中文摘要 | 王芑孫是活躍於乾嘉文壇的代表性人物,其生平交遊、個人制行、文學與書法上的 成就,乃至對當時學風的批判等等,都是組成乾嘉學術風景線的重要元素。然而或 因被歸為文人之故,對王芑孫的關注,多集中在其詩歌辭賦乃至古文之成就上。但 是他在詩歌文章的議論裏所透顯出來對當時學術現象的批判,與這些批判背後所顯 示出其個人對學問之道的見解,以及文人在堅持所學的同時,所顯現出的對人生道 路的抉擇,卻是清代中葉學壇的一篇大文章,不但顯示出王芑孫與眾不同的人格特 質,也反映了清代中葉學壇的複雜現象,卻是尚未得到充分的理解與重視。所以, 本文撰作的目的,不在於強調作為一個堅持文士傳統與理念的惕甫先生,他的文學 成就如何值得關注,其詩文風格有哪些特徵,在清代文學史上居於何等位置,而是 想從惕甫詩文中大量的學術評論裏,鉤稽其探討學術優劣與人生蘄向的相關言論, 然後置之於清代中葉以降學術流變的視野,用以剖析這些議論對惕甫個人以及對清 代中葉以降學壇而言,有何意義存焉。 |
英文摘要 | Flourishing during the Qian-Jia period, Wang Qisun was a representative literary figure. His life story and acquaintances, personal ethical standards, achievements in literature and calligraphy, even his criticism of the academic atmosphere at that time, were important markers of the Qian-Jia academic landscape. However, perhaps due to his having been defined as a writer, the majority of research about him focuses on his achievements in poetry, essays or even classical prose; while his academic achievements and values, which are actually great research problems about the academia of mid-Qing dynasty, have not yet been fully understood and assessed. That includes the criticisms of academic phenomenon of that day reflected in his poems and essays, his academic opinions motivating these criticisms and his life choices as a scholar, which not only show his personality characteristics, but also reflect the complicated phenomena of academia in the mid-Qing dynasty. So, the purpose of this paper is not to emphasize his literary achievements, styles, and his position in the literature history of Qing dynasty, but to find related discussions about academic judgements and life pursuits that exist within his massive academic comments, and then to place these discussions into the academic transition after the mid-Qing dynasty and to analyse their implications for himself and their subsequent academic influences. |
