中文摘要 | 臺灣西部之臺地與山麓丘陵地分佈之面積很廣且地層多為卵礫石所構成,近年來此區域內各項工程建設有逐年增加之趨勢,故對於卵礫石層特性之瞭解有其必要。作者首先籌組大型反覆單剪試驗儀(直徑ø=30 cm),並採取臺中盆地內之卵礫石土進行大型反覆單剪試驗,結果顯示卵礫石土之剪力模數(G)與有效圍壓(σ'₃)、最大粒徑(d□)及礫石含量(GC)均呈線性增加之關係,當剪應變(γ)為0.1%時,其關係式為G(kg/cm²)=7.70GC(%)+81.03d□ (cm)+147.18σ'₃ (kg/cm²)-136.28。本研究中所獲得之卵礫石土剪力模數與剪應變之關係曲線(G~γ)與前人之研究結果進行比較,發現於大應變(γ>0.1%)時,臺中盆地卵礫石土有較高之剪力模數G;另利用上述之結果,於卵礫石進行現地試坑開挖、粒徑分析與現地震測試驗,即可求得現地不同深度且不同剪應變狀況下之剪力模數值。 |
英文摘要 | Gravel formations are wide spread along the terrains and hillsides in western Taiwan. Because of the increasing construction projects on gravel deposits, the need for properly characterizing the dynamic properties of gravel deposits raises. In this study, a cyclic simple shear device with specimen diameter of 30 cm is developed and gravel samples form Taichung Basin area are tested. Preliminary testing results are shown and multivariate regression analyses are conduced to correlate the secant modulus (G) with three major influence factors, which are the gravel content (GC), confining pressure (σ'₃), and the maximum gravel size (d□). When the shear strain (γ) equal to 0.1%, the shear modules and three influence factors are correlated as: G (gk/cm²) = 7.70GC (%) + 81.03 d□ (cm) + 147.18 (kg/cm²) – 136.82. Comparison results with published data show that the shear modulus of gravel deposits in Taichung Basin at shear strain level greater than 0.1% are significantly higher than other published data. Nevertheless, the proposed relationship can be implemented to estimate the shear modulus variations by sieve analysis and in situ seismic testing. |
