中文摘要 | 離心運動容易造成肌肉損傷,而熱身運動經常被建議作為預防肌肉損傷。超音波是理想提升肌肉溫度的媒介,但是超音波預防離心運動損傷效益仍不清楚。本研究目的欲探討超音波預處理對於離心運動後肌肉損傷情形及功能回復之影響。本研究招募8位大專健康男性學生,每位受試者非慣用手在進行最大離心收縮運動之前,皆以隨機方式進行無處理介入及超音波(熱療)等兩種處理。並在運動後立即與運動後第2、4、7、10天測量肌酸激酶值、最大等長肌力、關節活動度、肌肉僵硬度(聲輻射力脈波[acoustic radiation force impulse, ARFI])等肌肉損傷指標變化的情況。研究結果顯示:離心運動前超音波處理與無處理相比較,超音波處理所測得較小損傷症狀(最大等長肌力顯著較大、肌酸激酶活性值、ARFI顯著低及關節活動度恢復較快)。本研究結論:雖然離心運動後皆顯著造成所有肌肉損傷症狀之影響,但是藉由超音波處理可能能增加肌肉與肌腱組織溫度、降低肌肉黏性及增加肌肉延展性,因此降低肱屈肌離心運動損傷。 |
英文摘要 | Muscle damage is easily occurred after eccentric exercise. Therefore, muscle warm-up is routinely recommended as an alternative way to prevent the muscle damage or injury. Ultrasound (USD) is an ideal way to elevate muscle temperature, but the protective effect of ultrasound exposure on eccentric exercise-induced muscle damage is remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to examine whether preconditioning with ultrasound diathermy prior to eccentric exercise could attenuate the muscle damage. Eight healthy male university students were voluntarily participated in this study. Each subject performed two protocols in a randomized order (no treatment and ultrasound preconditioning) prior to maximal eccentric contraction for the non-dominant hand. Creatine kinase (CK) activity, maximal voluntary isometric contraction strength (MVIC), range of motion (ROM) and muscle stiffness (acoustic radiation force impulse, ARFI) were measured before treatment (baseline), and immediately, 2nd, 4th, 7th and 10th day after eccentric exercise. The results showed that USD treatment prior to eccentric exercise appears to be beneficial than without treatment in attenuating the symptoms of eccentric exercise-induced muscle damage. This was indicated by higher MVIC, lower muscle stiffness, lower CK activity and a significant faster recovery from ROM. Although all symptoms of eccentric muscle damage have been changed significantly following eccentric exercise, the USD treatment may increase the temperature of muscle and connective tissue, which would reduce muscle viscoelastic and increase muscle extensibility. Therefore, USD has a prophylactic effect on reducing the elbow flexors muscle damage in young college students. |
