中文摘要 | 本文討論如何利用簡易的材料製作自動潛浮之潛水艙,幫助學生學習密度與浮力相關科學概念。各式自製潛水艙的沉浮機制主要來自發泡材料遇水產生氣體所造成的密度變化。裝置製作的重點考量包括:氣艙空間的設計、氣體產生速率的快慢、排氣與進水的控制、與壓艙的重量。各種不同型態的潛水艙有相同的潛浮基本要素,也有不同的排氣與進水設計,操作時現象清楚容易觀察。實徵教學的發現,裝置使用素材來自日常生活中、材料便宜而且可隨意取得、也容易製作與操作、並且同時具有創意培養與問題解決的學習內涵,適合作為中小學生物理學習與一般民眾科普推廣的動手做實驗活動。 |
英文摘要 | We use a variety of everyday items to enrich the development of automatic diving tank science hands-on kits for density and buoyancy learning. We used all kinds of diving tanks with the same fundamental mechanism of density variation due to the gas produced by foam materials being mixed with water. The gas generating rate, exhaust and intake of gas, exhaust and intake of water, weight and ballast are the important control factors. Different types of diving submersible floating cabins have different exhaust and inlet designs, are easily operated, and produce clearly observed phenomena. From the empirical teaching, we found that they are all easy to make and operate, and are effective for creative and problem-solving science learning, and also as popular science activities. |
