英文摘要 | Research in terms of special education is infrequently conducted in Aceh. To digest how the current situation of special education in Aceh, a survey on the perspectives of special education teachers regarding special education was conducted. The study aims to investigate the perspectives of special education teachers and non-special education teachers towards the current situation of special education teachers and to explore differences in the attitudes of special education teachers and non-special education teachers to the current situation of special education teachers. To examine special education teachers' and non-special education teachers' attitudes, a cross-sectional survey study was designed. A total of sixty-two participants from seven schools participated in this study. All sixty-two participants were special education teachers and non-special education teachers from elementary schools, primary schools, and senior high schools. The instrument used to collect data in this study was a questionnaire comprised 15 items. The alpha reliability of the Likert-type scale for attitudes was .682. The findings of this study indicated that the majority of teachers had positive attitudes of the current situation of special education teachers in Aceh. There is no different significant to the perspectives of current special education between special education teachers and non-special education teachers. |
