中文摘要 | 評量和教學互相影響教育成效,教學決定評量成績,評量操縱教學方向。但有時評量像一把兩面鋒利的劍,一方面它把教學導引至最有效的方向,另一方面它卻驅使我們偏離學習目標而成為分數的奴隸。隨著傳統教學和聯考制度的改革,以及美國國家數學老師會議(NCTM, 1989)新制定的數學課程標準,將聯想、推理、解釋、描述等變成學校數學課程的學習軸心,傳統的評量方法已不能單獨使用,需要有更寬廣的變通式評量配合實施。本研究的目的,是藉由實例的介紹,來說明數學變通式評量的設計和使用,以配合有效的教學,鼓勵老師嘗試將傳統偏重記憶的評量改為實際操作和溝通的評量,讓學生體會知識是建造出來的,並且符合科學的應用。 |
英文摘要 | Assessment if an important topic in education and is related to teaching. Teaching decides the result of assessment while assessment leads the direction of teaching. Assessment is like a two-edged sword. One side is good at helping deliver instruction. The other side is harmful because it tends to focus on scoring rather than learning. With the reformations of traditional teaching and entrance examination, and the revision of the Curriculum Standards of the NCTM (1989), connection, reasoning and representation become more central in the math curriculum. It is not sufficient to use the traditional assessment alone. The alternative assessment widely provides teachers with extra assistant assessment. The paper pvovides the results of the design and application of the alternative assessment in mathematics teaching. Examples are included to illustrate the effects of alternative assessment. While the traditional assessment focuses on using memory, the alternative assessment emphasizes the actual performance and communication. Each student should be educated that knowledge is constructed and learning needs to comply with the application of real world. |
