英文摘要 | In this investigation, a simple, rapid, and low-cost sputtering system was employed to deposit the Ag-nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) or Au-nanoparticles (Au-NPs) in blue- or green-light polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) at room temperature. This novel fabrication effectively avoids interruption or degradation of the charge transport properties of the active layer and therefore satisfies the high performance requirements for PLEDs. Because of the localized surface-plasmon-enhanced emission, the electroluminescence intensities of the blue-light PLED based on the Ag-NP/ITO anode and green-light PLED based on the Au-NP/ITO anode increased nearly 5.8-fold and 2.7-fold, respectively, compared to that of standard blue-light and green-light PLEDs with a bare ITO substrate. |
